Tonight's foray into the garden was awesome and disgusting.

Felled another branch of lilac (don't feel so bad since reading they do need pruning, and these are definitely dead branches). 

Can see Tommy Tomato is getting a bit buffer.

Noticed how there are interesting "fruits" on one of the plants growing in the shade next to the fence.














Something's growing out of this nut.  It doesn't quite seem like a weed, but it is in the way.  I replanted it somewhere else. 

There was a pretty beetle too (though don't know what it is).

But then, slugs!  One touched me!  It's sticky and gooey.  Ew!

They're eating the rhubarb leaves.  I don't want to eat it, so I'd be fine if they stuck to that.  But no.  Argh!
