It's been a whole year of daily proverbs from Paul's calendar. Many of them led to interesting interpretation discussions and some were even good (and strangely timely) advice.
Paul's been typing them into a file once they've been pulled off the calendar. Today he started playing with the data.
Dogs seem to appear quite often. How often?* Do a quick find and replace and you get a count.
Now, was it because I happened to be peeling a potato when Paul was doing just that and inspiration struck? All of a sudden I was hearing him read out:
Every potato has his day.
You can't teach an old potato new tricks.
I laughed, but um... they're still strangely meaningful.
