I've (Step 1) put my music player on shuffle, and (Step 2) posted the first lines from the first 30 songs that played (even if they're embarassing). Now it's your turn: Post the song's name and artist (yes some of these are covers, make a guess) in the comments section.
Here they are!

The Rules from Facebook:
Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first *30* songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 4: For those who are guessing -- looking the lyrics up on a search engine is CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game post your own
1. 'BBC' by The Ming Tea (from the 'Austin Powers' soundtrack)
11. 'Mercy' by Duffy
12. 'My Funny Valentine' by Frank Sinatra/Michael Buble
7. Jealous of your Cigarette, Hawksley Workman
13. Pendulums, Sarah Harmer
16. Dancing Queen, ABBA
25. A cheezy 80's or 90's dance song that I can half sing but don't know title or artist.
29. Aside, The Weakerthans (DAMN good album. Still one of my favourites)
Rem says:
26. Soul of a Man, Bruce Cockburn (Or ... ?? blues artist??)
19. Standard 50's rock tune that Rem can sing but doesn't know artist or title... Buddy Holly?
I wish I was in the room with Steph & Rem when they were playing this game. I think I would have been treated with singing (and possibly dancing?).
Steph: I don't know much about number 25, so I'm not sure if you're on the right track or not. You have however, named the ones I thought would definitely know. Good job!
Rem: 19... just need the name!
Re 25: the last line I remember is 100% Pure Love... which sounds like a possible title. But I still don't know who sings it!
Re: 25 Similar lyrics indeed, but a different song, completely. Try again!
