Admit defeat?

Dandelions pulled: 30
Lilium "Red County" Planted: 2
Mosquito bites subjected to: Too many

Think I'm losing the battle.  So much weeding and still the whole lawn looks covered!  Jackie's weeder works well, but still all the bending and pulling is hurting my back.

I also can't figure out how to fix all our clay soil.

My blueberry plant needs acidic soil (according to internet) and I don't have that.  This is what I get for impulse buying!

No reprieve even inside.  The wildflowers are spindly and the tiny, tiny flower (a 3 mm bloom) doesn't want to be photographed.  Ugh!

Paul thinks I'm obsessed.

WHite vinegar ( especially the 25% stuff from Earth's General Store) and boiling water are apparently good dandelion killers. And your clay soil could probably benefit from tons and tons of compost. So say I, the non-gardener.
