We finished our Scrabble game and had some of the hot pot for dinner.
Then we took Jackie to the airport.
There were hugs and tears. I knew they'd be there, but it was still sad.

On our way back home, Paul and I grabbed groceries. A different Superstore (they carry ghee!). But even more different was my shopping partner, who was more delighted by word use than anything else.

I should explain the aforementioned "word use" observation. The word speciality, so common in the UK, seems to be used very little over here: specialty enjoys much greater use. I was pretty surprised, therefore, to see the UK variant printed on this food packaging.
