"Where is he?" It probably wasn't the best idea to send the groom to find someone else who was missing (like D&D said, don't let your dance partner leave your side), but Kathy didn't have to worry - Neil was back in no time. And then the ceremony started. Meaghan, Rem, Erich, and I sing into the breeze. Kathy and Neil repeat their vows, exchange rings, and sign the register (Steph and Rem witness). And they are introduced as married! It was all done in a flash - short and sweet.
Hugs were exchanged. We, the audience, blew bubbles from small containers of solution and there were lots of photos.
For the rest of the afternoon, we stayed in the park and played. Kathy and Neil had planned well for us, including snacks and games.
After a short to visit to Meaghan's parents' place, we were back at the hall. More photos, this time, befit our maturity, at the playground! We ate a lovely dinner and finished off the meal with delicious ice cream wedding cake. After some brief words, we danced! And ran after the kids.
A few more details and photos here.
